PAY PARADE MAGAZINE

Between 1941 and 1945 the Royal Army Pay Corps in Leicester produced a monthly magazine entitled Pay Parade for the entertainment of staff in RPOs Leicester, Oldham and Droitwich. This image shows the cover of the Victory Edition, which was drawn by the pre-war journalist and talented cartoonist Private Jimmy Mercer.
